Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy following dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
- Road tests vehicles when required
- Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed if the work outlined is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
- Understands and complies with federal state and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal OSHA etc.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Participates in manufacturersponsored training programs schools and events
- Maintains and is accountable for all dealershipowned tools and manuals
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must Have a Valid drivers license
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Ensure customers cars are kept clean and treated with respect
- Must be a helpful team player
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Skills/ Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of automobiles
- Good communication
- Basic Computer
- Ability to learn new technology
- Accountability
