Job Description
General Summary
Responsible for monitoring patient comfort before during and after surgical or medical procedures through the administration of anesthesia and other medications. Administers anesthetics during surgery and adjusts them as needed. Monitor patients vital signs.

WellSpan Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join our growing practice headquartered at Chambersburg Hospital. WellSpan Health is a nationally recognized integrated health system that serves twelve counties. Our strategy is teambased and focused on patient safety quality and physician wellbeing.
Position Highlights:
- Join an experienced & collegial team of 17 physicians.
- Anesthesiologists collaborate with 19 employed CRNAs.
- Chambersburg Hospital is a busy 274bed hospital.
- Anesthesiologists also supervise at a stateoftheart ASC.
- Approximately 7300 surgeries are performed each year.
- The emergency department sees 54000 patients per year.
- Cases include bariatric breast general gyn orthopedic plastic vascular etc.
- Call is taken from home shared equally & allows for work/life balance.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required or
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Upon Hire Required and
- Successful completion of an Anesthesiology residency. Upon Hire Required
