Description

The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN is seeking a Neurologist to join the Epilepsy practice. The departmentincludes nearly 100 boardcertified neurologists offering highly skilled stateofthe art neurological care.

The Epilepsy division is looking for a subspecialty trained epilepsy physician with a clinical and research focus. Activities and necessary skills include staffing epilepsy clinic a 8bed epilepsy monitoring unit interpretation of routine and hospitalbased EEG and continuous EEG Monitoring intraoperative electrocorticography Phase 2 epilepsy surgery evaluations including subdural and stereoEEG evaluations with electrical brain stimulation for functional brain mapping



Qualifications

Candidates must be boardcertified in Neurology and Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology. Clinical neurophysiology training must have an emphasis in EEG and included direct experience in routine and complex neurophysiology involving EEG with direct experience in the presurgical evaluation of patients with drugresistant epilepsies.

Candidate must also be eligible for a Minnesota Medical license.
