Nurse Practitioner NP/Physician Assistant ProgressiveHealth Occ Health LLC Smyrna TN
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team to support a major manufacturer in Smyrna TN with an onsite health and wellness clinic for employees and their families. This position will provide occupational acute occupational and health improvement services. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive supportive and innovative team!
What will you be doing in this role
- Providing direct onsite patient care services and other professional services to meet clientrequested coverage hours along with formulating and administering health programs and clinic protocols as needed
- Providing episodic occupational acute primary and preventative health care to patients
- Conducting histories and physical examinations and prescribing medications and/or medical treatments based on evidencebased practice standards
- Collaborating with the client nursing staff and the operations team in determining executing and implementing protocols formularies emergency plans and quality assurance programs for the clinic under the state laws rules and regulations governing collaborative relationships
- Be readily available to give consultation in the provision of health care to patients
- Providing guidance and education to any additional clinical staff as appropriate

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board Certification
- Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in state of practice location
- Not currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or to any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction
- Has never been excluded suspended or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare Medicaid or any other thirdparty payor nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals parties or specially designated nationals list as debarred excluded or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs.
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
