Bank Staff Nurse (Surgical Orthopaedics)

Cromwell Hospital London SW5 0TU

Paying 28.20ph


Role Overview:

As a Bank Staff Nurse you will work on The Surgical and Orthopaedic ward based at the prestigious Cromwell Hospital. Youll work as part of a wideranging MDT who provide a large range of surgical specialties to include orthopaedics ENT Plastics Aesthetics Abdominal Surgery Breast Surgery and others.

As a Bank Staff Nurse you will be a caring and compassionate nurse delivering a high standard of care to our patients. We value all our people and will provide you support and a great place to work.

What youll do:

  • Assess plan implement and evaluate individualised quality patient care.
  • Supply and administer medication safely in line with hospital policy.
  • Assess and support patients with their adherence and understanding of their
    medication.
  • Work with the multidisciplinary team and collaboratively ensure appropriate
    care is provided.
  • Respect peoples rights to privacy dignity and confidentiality.
  • Maintain peoples right to dignity privacy and confidentiality whilst under care at The Cromwell Hospital.
  • Take on extra duties and responsibilities as delegated and work within the scope of your professional practice being aware of your own capability and limitations.
  • Keep clear and accurate records following NMC standards of documentation.

What youll bring:

  • Registered General Nurse and NMC PIN required.
  • Nursing experience in a Surgical ward.
  • Pleasant and cheerful manner being supportive and approachable.
  • Contribute to a highquality safe working environment in which patients receive a high standard of care.
  • Ability to work well both in a team and to use your own initiative.
  • Ability to maintain professional communication.
