Quality Engineer Web API testing Specflow

Responsibilities:

1. Manual Testing:
• Execute endtoend manual testing of software applications ensuring all business requirements and technical specifications are met.
• Design review and maintain detailed test plans test cases and test scripts.
• Perform regression functional integration and exploratory testing.
2. Web API Testing:
• Test APIs using tools likepostman SOAPUIand other industrystandard frameworks.
• Verify request/response flows API integration and data accuracy.
• Create and execute API test cases and automate API testing workflows.

1. UI Automation Testing:
• Automate functional and regression testing for web applications usingSeleniumandSpecflow.
• UtilizeBDD (BehaviorDriven Development)to create robust and maintainable test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts to enhance efficiency.

1. Defect Reporting and Management:
• Identify document and report bugs in an organized manner using defecttracking tools like JIRA Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
2. Collaboration:
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
3. Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools technologies and best practices.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance testing processes and frameworks.

Job requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.

• 3 4 years of professional experience in Manual testing; Web API testing
• Must be willing to work in 70 Manual and 30 Automation

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Handson experience with API testing tools likePostmanSwagger or similar.
• Proficiency in creating automation scripts using Selenium and Specflow.
• Understanding of Gherkin syntax for BDD scenarios.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Exposure to Any Automation and basic knowledge of C# advisable.
