AMPM Weekend Lifeguard

Saint Josephs College of Maine is hiring for the position of per diem Lifeguard!

POSITION DESCRIPTON:

Supports the Alfond Centers department of Aquatics by:

• Ensuring the safety of all facility users
• Implementing all emergency and rescue procedures
• Enforcing all pool rules
• Opening closing and maintaining the pool
• Notifying the Aquatics Director of maintenance needs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must have current American Red Cross or YMCA certification in: Lifeguard with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:

Ability to relate well with all age groups work in a corporative team focused manner and present a professional image

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to concentrate and follow through on all assignments to completion

Tolerates work related stress effectively and maintains selfcontrol/professionalism
