As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking youare an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. As a core technical contributor you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes creative software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Working with architecture and design leads across the Digital organization and broader JPMC organization on business and technical architecture of the platform
- Conducting hands on POCs to prove concepts/products
- Migration to internal and external clouds
- Migration to Microservices architectures and patterns
- Evaluating open source and vendor products
- Leading small group of developers/scrum team
- Designing distributed applications.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification onsoftware engineeringconcepts and 5 years applied experience
- Hands on application design coding Experience on Java 8/J2EE distributed application development REST
- Good understanding of building services in cloud.
- Experience with messaging (Kafka) based integration and micro services
- Good to have programming with NoSQL/NPL
- Experience in ensuring successful design development testing and implementation of application components for online application using technologies including Core Java J2EE technologies web services tomcat servlets JSPMessaging;
- Handson practical experience with Java Spring Spring Boot and AWS or any cloud related technologies.
- Handson practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability
- Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages like Oracle MySQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
- Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
