The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Rome is currently seekingResident Assistants.
Position Type: FullTime or PartTime
Shift: Day Shift or Evening Shift
Pay Rate: $15.50

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking Resident Assistants to join our team. This entrylevel position is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in the medical field and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. As a Resident Assistant you will work closely with the nursing and interdisciplinary team to provide care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the transport of residents who do not require weightbearing assistance.
Pass out clothing protectors before mealtime.
Distribute meal trays and assist with meal setup as needed.
Provide dining assistance to residents as necessary.
Make beds straighten rooms and refill water pitchers.
Round on units to ensure cleanliness.
At the end of each shift check shower rooms kitchen area clean and soiled utility rooms and other shared areas on the unit for cleanliness.
Answer call bells promptly and professionally.
Complete any other duties assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Ability to read write and speak English.
Solid moral character patience and a positive attitude toward the geriatric population.
Ability and willingness to follow direction and learn new concepts and procedures.
Completion of general orientation and inservicing including hand washing infection control transporting bed making tray setup and body mechanics.
Must be able to remain on feet almost 100 of the workday.
Must have a full range of motion to allow for kneeling reaching pulling etc. while performing job duties.
Physically able to lift or move up to 35lbs without assistance.
