Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual who Shares our focus and dedication for those we serve and support. This is a role that is key for service delivery within our Personal Care area and designed to truly make a difference in the lives of Adults that are served improving the quality of life and connection to community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and toileting.

  • Provide assistance with mobility transfers and positioning as needed.

  • Support clients with meal preparation feeding and dietary requirements.

  • Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to promote socialization and mental stimulation.

  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients including light housekeeping duties.

  • Communicate effectively with clients their families and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols maintaining a safe and hygienic environment at all times.

  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Personal Care Aide or similar credential preferred.

  • Previous experience in a caregiving role preferably in a home care or assisted living setting.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles including personal care hygiene and mobility assistance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients and their families with empathy and respect.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.

  • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license preferred.
