As a mechanical process engineer you will contribute to the development of our clients systems. This will require you to develop a thorough understanding of processes and contribute to its continual improvement.

You will be part of a small but growing engineering team and will work directly with our fabrication partner equipment suppliers and endusers.

To be a successful candidate you must have experience designing and working with equipment for high pressure applications and in creating quality mechanical and process engineering documents and drawings.

What Youll Do

  • Create 2D and 3D mechanical engineering and construction drawings.
  • Draw and maintain process engineering documents including PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Define pressure equipment and piping requirements and specifications.
  • Perform piping layout and design.
  • Quality control activities relating to pressure vessel design and certification.
  • Create technical documentation.

Who You Are

Qualifications and Experience

  • BS in Process or Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • 5 years relevant experience
  • Proficient with computer design and drawing software such as AutoCAD or Solidworks.
  • Knowledge of industrystandard engineering documentation including construction drawings and P&IDs.
  • Preferred: indepth knowledge of pumps heat exchangers pressure vessels valves.
  • Preferred: knowledgeable about pressure vessel codes and standards.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment with multiple tight deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires close vision and dexterity with fingers
  • This position requires an individual to sit for long periodsof time using a computer stand and move about the facility
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
