Want to know a little more about the role Daytoday responsibilities include:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Global finance team in this newly created position. Reporting to the FP&A Manager the Project Accountant will support our Drilling Services division with
- Supporting fixed asset and lease accounting
- Updating system data as required
- Assist with budgeting forecasts and project analysis
- Calculating and posting journals and project batches
- Support monthend close processes including month end closure of projects and error corrections reconciliations and analysis
- Adhoc duties as required.
A few other things were looking for:
- Graduatelevel Accounting Commerce or Finance degree.
- Highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- A proactive cando and solution focused mindset.
- Previous experience in Project Accounting desirable.
- Good knowledge of Excel. Previous use of ERP systems including Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle wellregarded but not crucial.
