What youll do
As the Digital Risk Manager youll be the goto expert in cyber and digital risk working closely with teams across Technology and the Business to keep Tabcorp secure while helping it achieve its goals. Reporting to the Head of Technology Cyber and Digital Risk youll take charge of risk management ensuring everything stays within the companys risk tolerance.
This is a firstline risk role meaning youll be handson in identifying and managing risks before they become bigger issues. Plus youll lead and inspire a team of specialists delivering smart effective and consistent digital risk solutions that keep the organisation running smoothly and securely. In this role youll be at the heart of cyber digital and technology risk management working with technical and business teams to keep Tabcorp secure. Heres how youll make an impact:
- Lead & Inspire a Team Guide a group of specialists ensuring they deliver topnotch digital risk solutions on time and at a high standard. Youll help them grow develop their skills and set the bar high for professionalism and engagement.
- Drive Process Improvements Streamline and standardise the way digital risk is managed across the organisation making processes smoother and more efficient.
- Assess & Manage Risks Identify potential cyber and digital threats before they become problems. Youll evaluate vulnerabilities assess their impact and put plans in place to keep the business protected.
- Ensure Compliance Keep the organisation in line with cybersecurity policies regulations and industry standards helping to maintain a strong security posture.
- Respond to Cyber Incidents Be ready to jump in when issues arise. Youll help support incident response address the root cause and implement lessons learned to prevent future threats.
- Communicate & Report Risks Translate complex risks into clear actionable insights. Youll prepare reports and share recommendations with key stakeholders helping drive smart decisionmaking across the business.

What youll bring
Tertiary qualification or on the job experience in digital risk technology and/or cyber security roles particularly in governance risk and compliance.
- Qualification or on the job experience in risk management in an enterprise context ideally in a highly regulated environment.
- A high level of technical background in at least one of the following cybersecurity technical competencies: Cyber Security / Technology Risk Management Security Engineering Security Architecture Control Assessment or Penetration testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in implementing security framework (NIST ISO27001 in an enterprise context.
