The FortiSOAR R&D team is looking for a Staff Software Developer to help improve and expand our SOAR capabilities in the platform. As a member of the team you will be responsible for designing and building the FortiSOAR SaaS platform. You will be working on everything from requirements gathering (working with Product Management and customers) to UX design (working with designers) architecture and implementation (working with UI developers).

Responsibilities
Design and build the UI framework for FortiSOAR SaaS platform.
Accurately translate user and business needs into functional secure and efficient frontend design and code.
Design and build the reusable components and frontend libraries empowering rapid development
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality implementation
Optimizing components for maximum performance across webcapable devices and browsers
Collaborate with backend and quality engineers to spec write test and deploy code that integrates with data streams and API endpoints.
Utilise responsive design techniques and ensure crossbrowser compatibility.
Define and maintain design standards guidelines and best practices for UI/UX consistency across projects.
Perform code reviews and improve/ensure the quality of product.
Stay uptodate with emerging design trends tools and technologies to continuously enhance the user experience.
Drive innovation in the UI design process to differentiate the product in competitive markets.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or equivalent education.
Experience: 8 to 12 Years of UI architecture design and programming experience preferably in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Experience with workflow engines or SOAR products used at scale
A deep understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (Angular VueJS KnockoutJS BackboneJS ReactJS at least two)
Indepth knowledge of JavaScript designs and architectural patterns
Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS.
Problem solving skills and ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
Strong analysis problem solving and troubleshooting skills
A good understanding of serverside implementations. Knowledgeable of REST API patterns and design concerns.
Knowledgeable of the performance scalability & security considerations for web applications.
Proficient with debugging and testing tools to troubleshoot and optimize the UI.
Understanding of frontend security best practices and XSS CSRF etc
Solid understanding of user interactions required for SinglePage Applications.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written and able to quickly learn and implement new technologies application appropriate frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of SOAR/SIEM platforms working with SOC teams will be advantage

The Canada base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be between $122500 $163300 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
