Job Description
The Del Grande Dealer Group is searching for a talented and experienced General Manager at our Capitol Chevrolet dealership. As aGeneral Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a stores retail service and commercial sales productivity profitability work environment commercial relationships visual presentation standards and operational compliance.
What youll be working on:
- Responsible for profitability in all departments in the dealership
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve monthly and annual forecasts for all departments
- Hire mentor and monitor the performance of all department heads
- Maintain superior customer service (CSI) through dealership culture
- Review critical metrics daily for every department and make necessary adjustments to increase production
- Assist in developing an advertising and marketing plan
- Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process
- Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network
- Provide training and support to all staff
- Assist sales managers in closing deals and attracting more customers
What you need to bring to the table:
- Consistent track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 35 years of automotive management experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of inventory control
- Strong computer and phone skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Ambitious goaloriented and able to work within a dynamic environment
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record. DMV Check required
Salary:$200000$800000/annually
*Pay is based on applicable experience and skills.
