About Us:
The DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown is in the heart of Asheville within walking distance of shops galleries and restaurants. The Orange Peel and Rabbit Rabbit music venues River Arts District and Harrahs Cherokee Center are less than a mile away. The Role:
As an Engineer youre not just fixing things youre the unsung hero behind the scenes ensuring our guests experience comfort and safety without a hitch.
What Youll Do:
- Maintain the mechanical and electrical systems that keep the hotel running smoothly.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure everything is in working order.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to tackle larger projects and improvements.
- Keep an eagle eye on safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all.
- Assist in coordinating with external contractors when needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Your Skills and Style:

- Experience in engineering maintenance or a related field is preferred.
