RECOVERY SUPPORT WORKER

Join us in this FixedTerm FullTime role untiland make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Your next position could be providing evidencebased and recoveryoriented support to people discharged from acute mental health wards and/or supported by community mental health services. You will assist clients to achieve their identified goals and aspirations provide support with daytoday tasks and activities and develop professional working relationships with stakeholders to achieve best possible outcomes for clients. Working as part of a wider team you will have your own client caseload and will be provided with onthejob supervision on an ongoing basis.
You will need:
- Diploma in a human servicerelated field and demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness.
- A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity.
- Open drivers licence and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum thirdparty property insurance cover).
- Undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a valid NDIS worker screening clearance pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
- Willingness and ability to undertake vaccination of preventable diseases that complies with the Occupational Assessment Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Qld Health Policy Directive.
