Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Commissioning/Site Engineer for HV/EHV projects in Greece and Cyprus. The Commissioning Engineer will lead the of projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with company procedures. He/She will also ensure completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and costeffectively in accordance with contract specifications quality standards and safety requirements.
Your responsibilities
Plan onsite activities including necessary local resources equipment and milestones. Coordinate agreement between customer and external resources on site requirements & policies.
Contribute to planning and implementation of commissioning activities
Ensure the successful of startup construction erection testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications quality standards schedule and safety requirements from the beginning of the project to the final handover to the customer.
Ensure all documentation is modified and updated as necessary (the document handling system is maintained and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site).
Implement commissioning design changes and provides markups for asbuilt project documentation.
Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
Manage external organizations to ensure availability of commissioning equipment systems or services.
Coordinate site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification
Ensure the project follows and complies with company health safety and environmental policies.
Secure the alignment to legal and Hitachi Energy global requirements and address any issues if needed.
Your Background
University Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with Substation Automation Systems
Knowledge of Protection IEDs SCADA and RTU systems
Excellent knowledge of English and Greek language
Excellent knowledge of MS office
Excellent organization & communication skills
Team mentality
Ability to regularly travel
Completed military service for male applicants
