Job Description
Position Title: Director Cardiovascular Surgery

The Role you will play as the Cardiac Surgical Services Director:
As the Director of Cardiac Surgical Services you will oversee cardiac surgery cath lab endoscopy and work closely to maintain physician relationships.
The scope of their surgical services includes 12 operating rooms 6 of which are cath lab rooms 2 openheart rooms and a pre and postoperative area with approximately 20 bays.
This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer who values a relationshipdriven collaborative leader committed to safety quality and operational efficiency. You will manage a team of tenured and experienced leaders and take ownership of a significant budget requiring strong financial acumen and contract negotiation expertise.

Background Profile/Characteristics of a successful candidate:
- Hospitalbased Inpatient Surgery Experience
- Ability to form strong relationships with surgeons
- Experience in Cardiothoracic and endoscopic units
- Financial Savviness managing large budgets
- RN/BSN Required
- MSN preferred
- 5 years in Cardiac Surgery nursing and leadership experience
