In Maritime Advisory we support our clients with services beyond and independent of class. Specifically in the Ship Performance Center we utilize computational fluid dynamics (CFD) parametric modeling and formal optimization techniques to make ships more efficient in energy consumption. We help our clients during newbuilding retrofitting and during operation and thus substantially reduced the carbon footprint of the maritime industry.
Your responsibilities:
- Assist with 3D CAD modelling contributing to innovative maritime solutions.
- Setup computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
- Coding of recurring tasks.
- Contribute to projects focused on enhancing the energy efficiency of ships including optimizing hull forms and/or operational measures.
- Engage in diverse tasks that will enhance your professional and technical skills.

Qualifications- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Naval Architecture engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong interest in ship performance energy efficiency and maritime technologies.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software and CFD applications such as Rhino Open FOAM or similar.
- Programming skills in Python and C would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team
