Job Description
Hire Resolves client in the civil engineering sector is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer (PrEng) in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Designing analyzing and evaluating structures to ensure their safety reliability and quality.
- Collaborating with architects contractors and other professionals to develop costeffective and efficient solutions for various projects.
- Working on a variety of projects including residential commercial and industrial structures.
- Managing a design team to ensure project deliverables are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PrEng) or working towards certification.
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles codes and standards.
- Experience with structural analysis and design software Sofistik FEM preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit and other design software/draughting packages.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of construction materials methods and techniques.
