Job Description
Overview
A General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings make sure buildings are closed securely. Reports any issues complaints to Supervisor and/or Route Manager
Job Skills / Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Clean warehouse by vacuuming sweeping mopping disinfecting and cleaning surfaces as assigned.
Use approved cleaning chemicals only with proper PPE as required and must follow SDS.
Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors using proper cleaners sponges and squeegees.
Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
Clean and service restrooms to include sinks toilets and urinals with mops and proper disinfectants.
Move heavy furniture to vacuum/sweep underneath as needed
Clean sinks countertops microwave coffee makers and refrigerators in break rooms
Empties cardboard and plastic recycling and compacts
Identify and report needed repairs on equipment to ensure they are wellmaintained.
Crosstrain on other duties or areas as assigned by Supervisor
Executing heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
Ability to work in team environment
Adhere to all general safety rules
