Job Description
Our FeeForService Therapists are responsible for supplying necessary clinical intervention in a culturally competent and sensitive manner to children and adults in a hybrid setting. As part of a therapeutic team within ICL our FeeForService Therapists partner closely with the divisions medical psychiatric and clinical staff to ensure the appropriate treatment interventions for the client. Youll be supporting your clients and interacting with your colleagues in the best of both worlds inperson at one of our clinics orin a virtual environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides direct clinical services including individual family and crisis intervention as clinically indicated.
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and consults with supervisor as clinically indicated.
- Maintains clinical records in compliance with all city state and federal regulations as per the city Department of Mental Health Mental Disabilities and Substance Use Services the State Office of Mental Health and the State of New York Department of Health.
- Complies with managed care requirements including consulting with care coordinators obtaining treatment authorization and providing necessary documentation.
- Participates in all mandatory agency training/inservice programs.
- Attends weekly individual supervision with clinical supervisor.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports clinic mission vision and value statements standards and the code of ethical behavior.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients colleagues public other agencies and their staff and third party insurance personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:LMSW LCSW LMHC LMFT or LCAT certification in New York State.
Training and Experience: Successful completion of internship(s) during Masters program.
Fluency in additional languages like Spanishor Russian a plus.
Job Knowledge: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Cultural competency is essential. Capacity to handle a minimum caseload of at least 25.
