Job Description
THE TEAM
The mission of the Reigning Champ Product Department is to craft premium apparel with a focus on pinnacle materials quality manufacturing and an ethos of understated simplicity.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Reigning Champ Design Department you will be responsible for creating beautiful elevated collections for our clients to access through our growing Retail eCommerce and Wholesale channels. You will design full season collections and translate the creative vision by developing the components and specifications of each garment. And with your valuable contribution to the business in this role the opportunities are endless from a rewarding career in Creative Design to continued growth within Aritzia.
THE ROLE
As the Designer Reigning Champ you will:
- Ensure the brand vision is aligned with the marketplace opportunity
- Identify external marketplace trends across all relevant Product Elements
- Curate the seasonal interpretation of our brand vision through the lens of our Product Elements
- Ensure that each style executes on the creative vision across all relevant Product Elements
- Develop all necessary details of style and components of each colour
- Ensure all detailed specifications are expertly captured for each individual style/colour on the tech pack
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Designer Creative Design has:
- A commitment to learn and apply Aritzias Business and People Leadership principles
- Proven skills education and/or required certifications in design and the appetite to continuously learn and develop oneself
- A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value and drive the business
- A sense of urgency executing job responsibilities prioritizing urgent and important work
- An ability to identify evaluate and suggest business opportunities for today and tomorrow considering top line and bottomline impacts
- The intellectual and emotional intelligence to tactically partner crossfunctionally in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
- The skills to set clear objectives and hold oneself accountable to reach your full capability and maximize your capacity
- An understanding of Reigning Champs brand aesthetic and style fundamentals and is engaged in trends and cultural influences
- A desire to conceptualize develop and execute new ideas designs and products that will elevate Reigning Champs brand
THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $75000$120000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
