Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Law Solicitor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling a wide range of family law matters including divorce child custody financial disputes and domestic violence cases. This is a fulltime officebased role in Stratford where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex cases while contributing to the firms reputation for excellence in family law.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of family law matters including divorce financial settlements child arrangements and domestic abuse cases.
Provide clear empathetic and practical legal advice to clients tailored to their specific needs.
Prepare legal documentation including petitions statements and consent orders.
Represent clients in court and at mediation hearings ensuring the best possible outcomes.
Liaise with clients opposing counsel and third parties to ensure smooth case progression.
Maintain strong client relationships providing high standards of client care and communication.
Contribute to the firms business development efforts through networking and referrals.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years PQE as a Solicitor specialising in family law.
Proven experience managing a broad range of family law cases including divorce childrens matters and financial disputes.
Strong advocacy negotiation and drafting skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive issues with empathy and professionalism.
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
Knowledge of family law procedures and regulations with a proactive approach to compliance.
Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
