The estimated annual base salary range for this position in the United States can be found in the JOB INFO section below. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors including performance knowledge jobrelated skills and experience and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&Cs annual incentive plan (AIP) subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate aboutProduct EngineeringS&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Underground Product Engineering team. As aAssistant ManagerProduct Engineeringyoull be crucial in ensuring continued innovation and supporting our diverse team.

S&C is a specialist in highvoltage switching protection and control providing products for the electric power industry since 1911. Product Engineering Underground is responsible for S&Cs underground distribution products including Vista UDS Vista Green UDS Vista SD UDS PadMounted Gear and future products. This position is for a capable experienced engineer who is interested in joining the S&C leadership team to organize and drive production support activities develop and deliver new features and functions for the existing PMG product family and develop their teammembers.

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Leading a team of engineers and designers responsible for providing support to underground distribution products production lines.
• Technical leadership and guidance to underground distribution production lines as well as the team members that support them.
• Engineering oversight for smallscale product design and process improvements.
• Working with suppliers production representatives and customers to resolve product related issues in a timely manner.
• Reviewing and approving RMA reports and issuing corrective actions undertaking root cause analysis and supervising design changes when appropriate.
• Recruiting training and mentoring team members to meet personal professional and corporate performance objectives
• Providing highquality engineering support for internal and external customers.
• Achieving and maintaining a high standard of quality on the supported product line(s).
• Resource tracking for project and team member allocation.
• Presentation of significant findings orally and in writing to senior management and engineers throughout the company.

To be eligible for this position you must at least meet these requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Product Support Design or Development role.
• Strong analytical and data processing skills as well as a solid understanding of statistics.
• Experience with modeling and simulation environments such as Matlab and Ansys.
• Experience with high power and high voltage testing and the applicable test standards for switchgear.
• Ability to work within a team and to build positive relationships with team members and project stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Desire to work in a fastpaced handson environment.
• Ability to interface with internal and external customers.
• Experience with project planning and project management.
