The Role
We are seeking a highly organised office administrator who can work independently to join our investment management business. This person will have a focus on supporting the Legal and Compliance Manager but the role will encompass office administration duties across all facets of the business.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
preparing various business documents
maintaining legal files and correspondence
complete all necessary regulatory filings including to ASIC APRA and ACNC
physical and electronic filing
updating contract and compliance registers
supporting corporate meetings and other commercial processes to meet our compliance needs
booking travel
expense reconciliation
facilitating annual staff compliance training and training registers
maintaining office supplies WPHS needs and office maintenance
supporting the ad hoc needs of our executives
oversee some online portals that support the running of the office.
The Candidate
You will have the following:
Proven experience in administration roles
Currently completing study in law (or something relevant) or experience in a previous legal role is advantageous but not necessary
Proficiency in MS Office including experience in email and diary management and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders from all levels of an organisation.
Be selfmotivated with a desire to learn new systems a strong work ethic and demonstrate the ability to effectively deal with sensitive and confidential issues.
Excellent organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Capability to work autonomously and take a proactive approach to resolve potential issues.
