Job Description

Responsibility

  • Drives organizational development of GBO NA sales team
  • Provides strategic guidance to Sales Excellence team and functions (Pricing Sales controlling Digitalization Sales Concepts)
  • Leads sales support functions (Customer Success Sales Operations) with a special focus on ensuring value driven work for world class customer service
  • Builds and structures commercial excellence organization and system environment enabling sales leaders and teams to implement the sales strategy
  • Collaborates with global Commercial Excellence team on roll out of global initiatives and refining the global and local strategy based on data driven analytics
  • Collaborates closely with local sales and key account leadership team to drive implementation of most impactful projects and strategic sales initiatives all sales channels
  • Ensures the highest standards of the GBO US salesforce with a special focus on customer service sales processes pricing digitalization and sales controlling
  • Ensures sales teams receive the required operational support from back office functions

Authority

  • Leadership of Sales Controlling and Excellence Team
  • Selects plans and executes strategic sales initiatives
  • Report Sales Performance to Management team
  • Impacts budgeting and target setting process
  • Monitors and manages pricing management together with Sales Management
  • Recruit hire train and terminate employees

Job Requirements:

  • 7 years of professional experience in the area of sales customer service or controlling preferably in MedTech/Healthcare/Life Sciences
  • Bachelor degree required MBA preferred
  • Located within close proximity to Monroe NC
  • Willing to work in the office majority of time
  • Strong analytical capabilities to drive insightful analyses
  • Strategic thinking to envision impact of new sales concepts
  • Creative mindset to translate Commercial Excellence Practices into applicable strategies for GBO US
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Experience with digital tools to drive sales performance and CRM (Salesforce) preferred
  • Interpersonal skills to navigate in cross functional setting
  • Clear understanding of processes and view on impact of digitalization
  • Driven by efficiency of sales support functions
