This is an outstanding opportunity for a data driven IT leader who is passionate about using technology to solve business problems for our Lab Chemical Division (LCD)!
As a Senior Manager of IT in LCD you are managing a team of IT analysts serving as the critical link between business needs and IT solutions and ensuring business value realization. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership communication orchestration capabilities with established business and technology expertise. This position will serve as the IT leadership representative in the EMEA region.
What will you do:
Leadership and Team Management:
Promote a collaborative work environment set clear objectives and performance expectations and mentor to build skills and resources to succeed.
Collaborate on developing and implementing overall IT/Digital strategy in concert with business strategy ensuring targets are met.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement innovation and standards through IT service delivery.
Relationship Management:
Proactively understand customer needs and objectives forging strong connections with business partners while advocating for the value of IT solutions.
Champion collaboration and alignment with group and shared service IT organizations.
Ensure effective communication of IT initiatives and metrics resulting in understanding and alignment.
Analysis and Orchestration:
Ensure the elicitation analysis and delivery of business requirements.
Conduct needs assessments feasibility studies and impact analyses.
Optimize project outcomes by facilitating business process models data flow diagrams and acceptance criteria.
Ensure successful orchestration and of IT projects and initiatives ensuring alignment to project management framework
What you Need to Know:
To be successful you will need meaningful experience with leadership roles with the ability to apply knowledge of business industry and technology to address problems and opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical audiences
Be able to use business outcomes to clarify critical initiatives.
Exhibits a high level of initiative and problemsolving ability.
Thrive in a matrixed environment that emphasizes speed agility and efficiency.
Must be located in UK with the ability to work in either Loughborough or Heysham. Ability to travel between sites up to 20
