Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Football Coach (Parttime)
Reporting Relationship: Head Football Coach
Unit: IWUMarion
Department: Intercollegiate AthleticsIWU Marion
Campus Location: Recreation & Wellness Center Marion IN
Duties and Responsibilities
- Duties may include but are not limited to coaching and serving as an assistant to the Offensive or Defensive Coordinator
- Other duties include recruiting qualified student athletes use of recruiting software camp operations scouting film breakdown monitoring academic progress of studentathletes and any other duties assigned by the Athletic Department)
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
- Bachelors degree required
Experience
- One to three 13 Years of High School or Collegiate Coaching Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
Required Skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of computer applications for recruiting and video exchange and breakdown
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work weekends & evenings and also to travel
