Position Summary: Life Link IIIs Fixed Wing Mechanic emphasizes safety excellence and innovation in its approach to realizing Life Link IIIs mission and vision.
The Fixed Wing Mechanic reports to the Field Maintenance Manager and works out of Life Link IIIs Anoka base. The Fixed Wing Mechanic focuses on safety and excellence. The primary duties for this role are to maintain and repair Life Link IIIs PC12 to airworthiness standards. This includes repairing and maintaining the structural mechanical and electronic elements of the aircraft. Ensures company operational goals and objectives are met while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance and documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations company policies and applicable maintenance manuals. The FW Line Mechanic embodies and lives out Life Link IIIs mission vision values and commitment to safe and effective air medical transport.
Position Highlights:
  • Perform maintenance repairs and inspections on PC12 airframes/engines
  • Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines wings fuselage and mechanical flight controls and subcomponents
  • Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems
  • Safely prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services
  • Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections
  • Perform limited maintenance operational checks
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment
  • Perform work necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer data
  • Participate in any required training programs
  • Prioritize workloads and manages complex aircraftrelevant tasks.
  • Accurately order general components and parts turnin and record removed parts record received parts as needed and directed and support delivery
  • Serve as a mentor providing onthejob training to partner nation personnel
  • Ensure that work areas assigned are maintained in a clean and safe manner

What We Are Looking For:
  • High school diploma
  • Four years of recent aircraft maintenance experience required.
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of FARsand 145.
  • Fixedwing experience preferably with a PC12
  • Required to own tools needed for basic maintenance.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 oncall rotations.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical publications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time climb ladders occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
  • Good vision and depth perception
  • Communicates effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Valid Drivers License

Where We Are Located: This opportunity will work out of our Anoka base which is located in Blaine MN.
