We are proud to run our own outofhours service with a 1:8 OOH rota (soon to increase). Routine hours are 8:45 AM to 6:00 PM with two vets always on callone as the primary responder and another for backup if needed. Youll be compensated with a 4day long weekend after each oncall weekend plus an additional long weekend midrota and extra pay for every outofhours call.
Our structured rota ensures a balanced mix of farm equine and small animal cases with dedicated operating days to provide ample time to work up cases to a high standard. We offer 15minute consults in manageable blocks and hold weekly clinical meetings for case discussions collaboration or simply to catch up.
Our experienced nursing team is supported by a full range of uptodate equipment across all species including equine and small animal video endoscopes sector and linear ultrasound for farm and equine work highquality small animal ultrasound digital xray (including dental and mobile for equine) and much more.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixed practice (farm equine and small animal) and will have the opportunity to pursue any particular area of interest. CPD is strongly encouraged with a generous allowance and professional fees and subscriptions are fully covered. A company car is available if needed.
