As a fresher in this role you will work on excitingspace and rocket technology projects gain handson experience and contributeto the design development and testing of stateoftheart propulsion systemslaunch vehicles and related aerospace technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Contribute to the design and analysis of mechanical components and systems for rocket propulsion launch vehicles and satellite systems.
- Work on CAD (ComputerAided Design) tools to create detailed models and drawings of mechanical systems.
- Assist in the development of structural components thermal systems and pressure systems related to aerospace applications.
- Material and Structural Analysis:
- Conduct material selection and strength analysis using software tools like ANSYS Abaqus or similar.
- Perform structural thermal and fluid dynamic simulations to ensure optimal performance under missionspecific conditions.
- Manufacturing Support:
- Support the manufacturing team in the fabrication of mechanical components.
- Assist with quality control procedures and ensure that components are fabricated per design specifications.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and components required for production.
- Testing and Validation:
- Participate in prototype testing including thermal vibration and environmental tests.
- Help analyze test results and propose design improvements based on findings.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration:
- Work closely with electrical engineers propulsion engineers software engineers and other team members to ensure integrated system design and optimization.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions design reviews and project planning.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- B.Tech/M.Tech (Freshers) in Mechanical Engineering from a IITs.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks CATIA AutoCAD etc..
- Basic knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation tools (ANSYS Abaqus).
- Knowledge of material science manufacturing processes and mechanical testing.
- Familiarity with thermal analysis fluid mechanics and structural dynamics would be a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with aerospace design and development (internships academic projects or prior experience) would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of aerospace propulsion systems or launch vehicle design.
