Our client in Paarl is looking for a Financial Manager.
The Financial Managers main duty and responsibility is to manage and oversee the financialrelated tasks of the Company. This includes daily financial operations and longterm planning. The job involves developing processes reports and guidelines needed to build and maintain the financial health of the Company.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Full bookkeeping function to trail balance Monthly management reports Cashflow management & cashflow forecasts Full Debtors and Creditors function (invoicing reconciliations monthly debtor statements) Salaries including commission calculation & Wages Annual budgets Prepare for annual overview Asset Management VAT reconciliations file/submit VAT201 on efiling Calculation of Provisional Tax Manage and reconcile Petty Cash Bank reconciliations Authorising Creditor purchase orders Loading all payments for the company Payment arrangements with Debtors and Creditors where applicable Assist with production costing hourly tariffs and calculations Assist senior management team with strategic financial planning
REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 Relevant tertiary qualifications (graduate or postgraduate qualification) At least 3 years of completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA) would be beneficial Minimum of 510 years proven work experience in a similar role Proficient work experience with MS Office Pastel VIP/ESS Knowledge of JobSys will be beneficial Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and concepts Analysing skills to interpret financial data Own reliable car with valid drivers license Fully Bilingual (English and Afrikaans) Effective communication skills Clear criminal record without any convictions Deadline driven being able to work under pressure
