Responsible for designing implementing and maintaining processes for deploying largescale software architectures. In this position you will utilize tools such as Docker GitLab and Ansible to handle the configuration and deployment of software to test and production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy DevSecOps practices for automating the software engineering practices across multiple teams and projects.
• Ensure we have solid foundational processes in place. The design decisions you will make in this position will have a direct and lasting impact on the success of the entire software team and organization.
• Drive modern software development practices across multiple agile teams.
• The DevOps Engineer will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and identify key technologies and architecture design patterns used by the team.
• Stand up multiple agile development teams and will oversee the instantiation of DevOps pipelines in both onprem and cloud environments

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 3 years in software development infrastructure design or DevOps
• Proven experience in a senior DevOps role demonstrating leadership and innovation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools especially GitLab
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform Puppet Chef Ansible).
• Demonstrated proficiency in containerization and orchestration.
• Handson experience with cloud platforms especially Azure and GCP
• Solid understanding of networking security and system administration.
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
• Must have an active Top Secret security clearance.

Desired:

• 5 years in software development in a classified working environment
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Docker Certified Associate or Kubernetes Administrator.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD on classified software development networks.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus ELK stack).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
