Hatch is seeking aCivil EIT in the Dynamic Earth Solution Civil Site Development team. Reporting to the Senior Civil Engineer you will support projects locally and globally based out of our Vancouver location by performing general civil engineering and design activities involving site preparation grading drainage roads paving etc. for mining and heavy industrial projects.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the delivery of projects as they relate to and coordination of scope quantities quality cost and schedule.
Prepare Engineering Work Packages (EWPs) in consultation with the Lead Engineer.
Support and contribute to conceptual and detailed engineering design
Support and contribute to preparing engineering calculations
Support and contribute to technical memos and reports.
Provide input to support Senior Engineers and designers as when needed.
Prepare and/or review project procedures standard specifications and design criteria
Participate in and contribute to design reviews
Carry out assigned tasks within budget and schedule
Assist in defining project scope
Ensure coordination with designers and engineers within the civil discipline and with other disciplines
Construction supervision and management dependent upon project demands
Assist in the commissioning on site as required
Assist in compilation and incorporate the safety in design plan.
Education and Experience:
Must be working towards graduating in 2022 or recently graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Applied Science in the Civil Engineering program froman accredited university.
In good academic standing;
Interested in civil earthworks engineering as a career;
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation;
Extracurricular involvement is considered an asset;
Knowledge or experience in a consultancy environment undertaking relevant industry projects (i.e. site grading drainage and roads design for mining energy or infrastructure) will be an asset;
Ability to work in a team environment with multidisciplinary interaction;
