Are you looking for a handson role where no two days are the same Do you enjoy working with tools and being part of a skilled team Im working with a wellestablished business in Pickering that is looking for a Workshop Assistant to support their production process. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills work with specialist equipment and be part of a company that values quality and precision.
As a Workshop Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the workshop with general tasks to support production.
- Measuring quality standards using a height gauge and making corrections with hand and power tools.
- Gathering materials and assisting machine operatives.
- Testing products in water pressure tanks to ensure quality.
- Coating products in a specialist acid room full training provided.
- Supporting the lost wax process a specialist technique used to create precisionengineered components.
Skills You Need to Have:
- A willingness to learn and develop handson skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Ability to follow processes and work safely with tools and materials.
- Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
