WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

About the Position:
To ensure the validation of an Interlayer ECU in an SAE Level 4 AD vehicle we are looking for a remote Test Engineer specializing in test automation test and analysis.
The Interlayer ECU serves as a central communication interface for various control units and plays a key role in processing and distributing safetycritical data.
The Test Engineer will work remotely focusing on developing the testing toolchain specifying and automating test cases as well as analyzing and documenting test results. The physical setup and mechanical work on the HIL test bench will be carried out onsite by other team members.

• Further development and optimization of the testing toolchain for HIL tests Specification implementation and automation of test cases

• of functional and communication tests in the HIL test environment via remote access

• Analysis of test results identification of failure patterns and support in troubleshooting

• Documentation of test results and close collaboration with development and testing teams

• Integration of new testing methods

• Remote monitoring and control of HIL test benches

• Communication Protocols Used: Ethernet & Automotive Ethernet LIN (Local Interconnect Network) CANBus (Controller Area Network) A2B (Automotive Audio Bus) LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling)

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• Experience in HIL testing and test automation

• Knowledge of ECU communication and automotive bus systems Proficiency in test automation and analysis tools

• Experience in test specification and documentation

• System Knowledge: Vector CANape Vector CANoe Tracetronic ECU.Test Tracetronic Test.Guide Codebeamer

• Optional: Programming skills (e.g. Python CAPL C) to enhance test automation
