Comfort Hotel Malm proves that being budget doesnt have to be boring. The common areas are designed to offer space and comfort all in an urban setting. We want entrepreneurs startups freelancers guests and locals to spend time with us. Comfort also values diversity within the company and everyone should feel welcome both guests and employees. The hotel is located next to Central Station and we have 293 rooms. We also have 4 conference rooms a gym a breakfast area and last but not least our Barception the heart of the hotel where guests can check in hang out at the bar or grab something to eat from our Deli.
As Breakfast Supervisor at Comfort Hotel Malm you are part of our Breakfast team and report to our Breakfast Manager. What youll be doing:
- With an eye for detail a heart that claps for the environment and an interest in taste you help put together a great breakfast every day
- Create an unforgettable experience for our guests together with the department team
- Lead departmental staff including onboarding training (food safety regulations hygiene practices and proper handling of equipment) scheduling feedback and development
- Have good knowledge of policies procedures and quality standards of Strawberry and the local hotel and ensure that the department complies with them
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations relevant to the department are followed
- Ensure that cleanliness and sanitation are up to the standards and regulations
- In consultation with the immediate manager ensure that orders belonging to the department are carried out
- Ensure that the monthly inventory is carried out on time and reported to the immediate manager
- Actively use relevant computer software and systems as recommended to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Have a close dialogue with the events/conferences project manager and pass on information to those concerned in the department

- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position (hotel breakfast)
- Working with events/conferences is a plus
