Job Description
Parallel Employment Group is seeking an experienced order picker for a manufacturing customer located in Lancaster NY. This is an great opportunity to work with a growing company.
Pay Rate: $17.50 to $18.00 Hour Depending on experience
Hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Verifying that orders are accurately filled and complete by comparing items and quantities with properly completed documentation.
Ensure shipments are properly packaged and identified with shipping information for final destination.
Ensure goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments with the establishment; and preparing and keeping records of goods received.
Report quality problems to applicable supervisor.
Responsible to follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
Any other tasks/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the Picking/Shipping department.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.
Requirements:
2 years picking and shipping experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
High School diploma
