Position Overview
Thornwell is currently recruiting Lifeguards for Summer 2025!
This position will maintain the safety of children and families in and around the pool respond to emergencies and assist with basic cleaning and water testing duties.
We are looking for trained Lifeguards who are CPR certified and who have completed their Red Cross Lifeguard certification. If an applicant does not have certification and/or training but is interested in being a Lifeguard please reach out to us and we will be happy to help facilitate your training.
This job is ideal for someone who is dependable reliable peopleoriented groupfocused and detail oriented.
Hours
Anticipated hours will be 1525 hours weekly beginning in May.
Pay
$13 per hour

This mission comes to life on Thornwells residential foster care and educational campus in Clinton South Carolina throughout the Upstate of South Carolina with foster care services and across Florida Georgia and South Carolina where evidencebased programs are offered by Masters level licensed therapists who partner with children and families to give them the tools they need to build healthy relationships and strong bonds for the future. Thornwells offerings align with State and Federal guidelines and are designed to empower children and families to live their best lives.
Thornwell is an independent nonprofit religious organization affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A. that prefers to employ individuals who share Christian values and who possess a Christian commitment for children and families in need.
