The Laboratory Manager is responsible for operations planning organizing maintaining and controlling of laboratory
functions within service quality and financial guidelines. The Laboratory Manager is a key figure in ensuring that timely
and accurate clinical diagnostic information is provided to healthcare professionals so that patient care and customer
service is of the highest quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in clinical laboratory
science medical technology or chemical
physical or biological science.
Masters preferred
Experience: Three years of clinical experience.
License(s)/Certification(s): MT or CT certification required. Specialist Degree preferred. (SH ASCP
SC ASCP SBB ASCP SM ASCP SV
ASCP)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to read write and speak fluent
English.
Other: Must be able to operate utilize laboratory
analytical processing and personal
computer equipment.
