Under the general direction of the Interim Assistant Vice President for Title IX & DHR the Prevention and Education Coordinator will provide strategic planning leadership and coordination of campus wide efforts to develop implement and assess evidencebased prevention education resources programs initiatives and awareness campaigns designed to prevent sexual misconduct discrimination harassment and retaliation and promote a safe living learning and working environment in alignment with federal and state laws as well as CSU Systemwide policies. This includes but is not limited to communitywide and audiencespecific prevention bystander intervention and peer mentoring programs online resources and annual trainings to promote awareness of relevant CSU policies and foster a culture of care and shared accountability. Specific audiences for annual trainings include new student faculty and family orientations fraternities sororities Division II Athletics teams employees and coaches sports clubs residential communities student organizations faculty staff and other identified campus populations.
In collaboration with others in the Title IX/DHR Office Clery Office and Sexual Violence Advocacy & Education Office as well as other departments and offcampus service providers the Prevention and Education Coordinator will implement training and prevention efforts that include but are not limited to online and inperson trainings educational outreach awareness campaigns peer mentoring programs workshops and campus conferences in alignment with best practices and recommendations from campus and system level program reviews such as the 2023 Cozen OConnor Report.
The Prevention and Education Coordinator is responsible for all stages of research program development event planning facilitation assessment and outcome reporting of such programs. As such the Prevention and Education Coordinator may supervise and/or advise undergraduate and graduate student assistants and peer educators in their programmatic and operational responsibilities. The Prevention and Education Coordinator will also collect and analyze data to identify trends provide summative reports and make recommendations for program improvements.
The Prevention and Education Coordinator will convene and chair a campuswide prevention advisory committee and may participate in oncampus CSU systemwide and communitybased committees that address and prevent sexual misconduct harassment and discrimination. The Prevention and Education Coordinator must remain wellinformed on Title IX and related laws campus and CSU systemwide policies and best practices for prevention education that is traumainformed evidencebased and culturally responsive.

Pay Benefits and Work Schedule
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $6320 $7000 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $6320 $9014 per month
Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected.
This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits including medical dental vision life and disability insurances retirement (CalPERS) tuition waiver vacation and sick leave. In addition 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
