The Opportunity
The Developmental Systems and Computational Biology group led by Gray Camp at the Institute of Human Biology (IHB) at Roche in Basel Switzerland is searching for a Scientist to execute highthroughput imagebased screening of complex mutilineage organoids with a focus on cancer. Your tasks will include the followings:
Maintain standards for tissue processing procurement and protocol development
Establish workflows for automated organoid culture staining and imaging
Coordinate within a team for data acquisition and analyses
Execute molecular and cellular follow up experiments
Who You Are:
You have the following qualifications and experience:
PhD in a subject relevant to biotechnology
Extensive cell and organoid culture experience across multiple tissue types
Extensive experience in molecular biology wholemount tissue clearing multiplexed immunohistochemistry and singlecell genomics
Prior experience establishing highthroughput imagebased screen using workflow automation and highcontent imaging
Strong knowledge of cancer cell biology and experience at the intersection of exploratory research and drug development
Experience working in a team composed of engineers biologists and computational data scientists.
Desire to understand biological systems through exploratory data analysis.
