Job Responsibilities
- Working Under General Supervision of Sleep Lab Director in Outpatient Sleep Lab the Polysomnographic Technologist Will Provide Comprehensive Evaluation and Treatment of Sleep Disorders. This may involve Polysomnography Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services and/or Patient Care and Education. This Person May Also Act as an Active Participant of the System Outreach Program by Attending Health Fairs and Other Wellness Activities in Response to Community Requests or Targeted Efforts Designed to Influence Healthy Lifestyles and Meet Healthcare Needs
Requirements:
- 1 Year of Relevant Experience
- Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Current for a Minimum of 90 Days After Hire Date.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT)
- If Employment is Based on the Entry Level CPST Certification Acquiring and Passing the Sleep Technologist Registry Exam (RPGST) Prior to CPST certification expiration.
