Summary:

The Lincoln Electric Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Cleveland headquarters. The Electrical Engineer will work within the Industrial Electrics Group business unit as a design engineer to develop new and/or improve existing products. This is a pivotal role supporting Lincolns innovative technology.

Responsibilities:

• Work in R&D on the design development and innovation of new products for the Industrial Electrics Business Unit
• Serve as a hardware engineer for the development and/or modification of circuits PCBs magnetic components and complete welding products.
• Work closely with software engineers to fulfill a product definition.
• Perform and supervise the testing of new designs processes warranty improvements and cost reductions.
• Coordinates the activities of technical support personnel and may lead crossfunctional teams.
• Collaborate with team colleagues R&D Manufacturing Production Supply Quality and Service Departments to establish and achieve objectives.
• Engineer safe high quality cost effective ergonomic and environmentally responsible parts subsystems and complete machines.
• Support Sales Marketing Service and customer issues as required.
• Coordinate activities of technical support personnel as required.

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of professional experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organization skills and able to manage multiple projects at once
• Experience in design testing and troubleshooting.
