Masters degree in education; OCT certification (in good standing); Recent experience teaching in elementary schools in Ontario providing schoollevel or systemslevel leadership in Ontario schools; Evidence of applied knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum Ethical Standards and Standards of Practice outlined by the Ontario College of Teachers in systems of schooling.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated advanced study research and professional learning on foundational topics that include (but are not limited to):
The role of schools in democratic societies.
The impacts of schooling on diverse human outcomes over the lifespan.
Schooling oppression marginalization and social justice; curriculum design as an enactment of social priorities.
The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those set out above.
