- Drive a stateoftheart grooming van to appointments across Middle Tennessee.
- Perform professional grooming services: bathing brushing trimming and styling based on breed standards or client preferences.
- Ensure pet safety and comfort using gentle handling and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Assess pets coat condition skin health and overall wellbeing and communicate any concerns to pet owners.
- Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend grooming products for home use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming vans ensuring tools and equipment are sanitized.
- Manage and schedule appointments ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
- Deliver exceptional customer service addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Proven experience as a professional pet groomer with expertise in grooming techniques breedspecific cuts and coat types.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; ability to safely operate a grooming van.
- Passion for animals with the ability to handle pets of all sizes temperaments and breeds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with pet owners.
- Strong attention to detail and consistent delivery of highquality grooming services.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and meet appointment schedules.
- Flexibility to work weekends holidays and occasional extended hours based on demand.
- Certification from a reputable grooming school is highly desirable.
Must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Nashville TN before starting work (required).
- Professional Pet Grooming: 1 year (required).
