Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and ensuring optimal functionality of Milling Machinery by performing the below:
- Process Control
- Storage Control
- Quality Control
- Maintenance
- People Management
Abilities/ Competencies/Knowledge needed:
- Adaptability and Flexibility
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Good critical thinking skills
- Good knowledge and experience/ practice of the below:
- Occupational Health and Safety Act of South Africa
- International Organization for Standardization
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points systems
- Good work values and ethics
- Quality Assurance
- Planning Organising and Control
- Innovative thinking
- Good decision making/judgement ability
- Good conflict resolutions skills
- Good team management experience
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Matric certificate
- Southern AfricanGrain MillingAcademy or Genetically Modified Foods Accredited Qualification
- Minimum of x3 years experience as a Miller
- Has previously worked with White Maize
- Full Spectrum Grain experience/ skill will be advantageous
- Valid South African Drivers license with own transport
Package & Remuneration
The salary for this position will be market related
