Job Summary
This position directs the work of development teams to successfully compete for grant funds in support of plans for new and improved programs and services at NCTC . Guide and support grant managers/coordinators and monitor the progress of grantfunded projects to ensure successful implementation in accordance with grant contract terms and agency regulations and compliance. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborates with crossfunctional teams including Deans to understand Division and Program needs to seek and prescreen grant opportunities to secure external funding thot furthers progress toward identified goals. Colead the grant proposal writing and editing process to ensure quality proposals that align with the funders compliance guidelines as identified in the grant announcement. Facilitate the development of strategic community educational workforce and business partnerships in relationship to enhancing the ability to reach program goals via externally funded resources/grants. Lead and contribute to weekly to Grants Dept. and External Affairs Division staff activities that progress grant development grant implementation grant compliance inclusive of grant purchasing fiscal evaluation inventory and grant data tracking plus division strategic planning goal attainment and activity implementation. Guide grant funded projects to include leading the grant kickoff orientation codeveloping the grant Standard Operating Procedures; conducting grant staff training; and communicating with funding agency project officer as an official NCTC representative. Ensure grant compliance regulations and fiscal and program outcomes are inline with the information provided within the grant application confirm compliance with local state and federal regulations and Risk Management. Monitor and analyze progress toward grant project goals outcomes deliverables and other contract terms and conditions for compliance and satisfactory /success evaluations. CoLead with grant manager assimilation and communication efforts for grant related fiscal or program periodic reporting desk reviews monitor visits audits and grant formal closeout procedures. Contribute time skills and ideas to various NCTC committees work group and community partnerships to advance opportunities within the college and the community. Other duties as assigned.
